Modern toilets are much more energy efficient, using the smallest amount of water possible to discard our waste. Sometimes, this smaller quantity of water is insufficient to fully clear the bowl, or get it down the pipes properly. here are a few tips of how to avoid clogs.
- Flush more! sometimes a second flush is all you need.
- use lighter weight paper. I cannot deny the allure of pillow topped paper, but that thick paper can easily ball up and slow the flow
- use LESS paper! it’s better for your plumbing and for the environment!
